    Do you enjoy working across all functional areas of HR? Are you a project driven HR professional that enjoys diversity in your role? The HR Manager, M&A Integration position offers just this. This position has primary responsibility to work as part of a team in planning and managing corporate M&A projects. The role will range from participating in the assessment / due diligence phase of acquisition target companies through to ensuring a smooth transition of newly acquired entities, managing the integration of all HR related matters. This individual will participate in defining and modeling a positive integration experience for incoming employees. The successful candidate will utilize analytic and relationship skills to collaborate with management and employees of newly acquired companies to drive successful integration. This is a highly cross functional HR role and the incumbent will also partner across functional teams within HR and the broader company to oversee compensation, benefits and payroll integration actions. Individual will also help with organization analysis, employee leveling and compensation reviews and monitor integration tasks to ensure larger project plan timelines are being met. Act as a company champion for the newly acquired team. Number of years of work experience: 10+ years progressively responsible experience in HR, including M&A integration.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and oversee global HR M&A integration guidelines and project playbook
    • Act as the HR lead partnering with the Corporate Development team to successfully execute M&A strategy from origination through integration stages with a deep understanding of the business and key measures of business success for the assimilation 
    • Oversee workforce planning transition plans, employee communications and legal compliance of integration activities
    • Consult with senior leaders to drive change, improve organizational effectiveness, identify areas of development and implement talent management strategies
    • Partner with the leadership team and the wider HR community to facilitate implementation and execution of all cyclical human resources processes including the annual merit, equity and bonus programs, the performance management process, and employee engagement initiatives
    • Implement strategies across a broad range of HR-related disciplines, including, but not limited to, change management, employee relations, talent management, organizational restructurings, etc.
    • Partner with specialists in legal, HR, accounting, payroll, IT, or other administrative areas of the company to ensure success
    • Advise management on HR policy implementation, provide guidance and advice on any issues arising from the policies, and ensure appropriate communication to employees, works councils, unions or other bodies

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years Human Resources, HR consulting, Law, and/or HR Operations.
    • Undergraduate degree in HR, Business Management or related discipline is required. Graduate degree is highly preferred.
    • Professional certifications are highly desired such as SPHR or PMP
    • Experience leading large scale, complex global projects with demonstrated success
    • Must be able to travel on an as needed basis
    • M&A experience a plus
    • Knowledge of program management, business processes, organizational analysis and IT-related data management and systems
    • Proven leadership and ability to work collaboratively with a matrixed team of professionals across divisions, functions and business groups
    • In-depth diagnosis, decision making, facilitation and problem-solving skills
    • Expert analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to identify HR implications, interpret business needs, and mitigate risk
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Expertise in relationship management, influencing, and conflict resolution 
    • Strong teamwork orientation; willingness to help larger team meet goals and responsibilities
    • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced and changing environment
