    Perform all day-to-day activities associated with our software pricing programs, working with Sales, Finance, Legal and the Product Managers. The position is responsible for analyzing and reviewing our programs for margin improvement, discounting practices and continual improvement.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze the competitive landscape for your product categories
    • Proactively gather market data for pricing new products
    • Execute analysis and data preparation in support of sales activities
    • Review market trends for pricing opportunities to optimize revenues
    • Analyze price relationships between products
    • Partner with product management team to create profitable pricing strategies
    • Collaborate with senior management to implement new pricing initiatives (e.g. move to Subscription pricing)
    • Creatively explore and recommend new revenue drivers
    • Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing actions effectiveness
    • Negotiate data provider vendor pricing contracts with decision-making ability.
    • Initiate continuous process improvement activities and monitor results
    • Set up a price increase program – create program to optimally enhance negotiation of renewed contracts to foster profitability.

    Qualifications

    • 6+ years of experience required.
    • Ability to comprehend and explain pricing models mathematically
    • Strong reasoning skills and ability to offer both written and verbal advice
    • Strong skill set involving Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Ability to handle complex analytical tasks involving multiple variables
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
    • Ability to effectively present information to management
    • Ability to collect and review data to create reports and summaries
