We have an outstanding career opportunity for a successful Senior Account Executive.This is an excellent opportunity with a competitive compensation and benefits package, perfect for an aggressive, high-energy, sales professional who will identify and bring to closure direct sales engagements, upgrade/expand existing accounts and work closely with regional partners.  This position reports into the Area VP of Data Integration Sales and will be supporting a Mid-Atlantic territory including NC, SC, MD, DC, OH, KY, WV.  Candidates should be based in the D.C. area, VA or NC in close proximity to an airport.

 

This is a challenging and highly-visible role.  The Senior Account Executive must be extremely results driven, customer focused, technologically savvy, and skilled at building internal relationships and external partnerships.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Account Executive you will have overall responsibility for direct sales, partner alliances, and customer satisfaction.  You will develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that maximizes opportunities for Precisely's Data Integration division products and services.

 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Utilizes and follows integrated sales process and CRM system
  • New Customer and Business Identification, Qualification & Development
  • Working with strategic resellers and alliance partners
  • Strategic Account Planning
  • Contract Negotiations
  • Working closely with Inside Sales Representative and Pre Sales Engineer

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software sales, selling directly to Fortune 500 and emerging companies
  • Strong understanding of Data Integration, Big Data, and Cloud solutions
  • Excellent presentation skills to end users, managers, and executives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able and willing to travel at least 50% including overnight travel without restriction in the United States
  • Self-starter with strong planning and administrative proficiencies
  • Ability to accurately prioritize and manage time/resources for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Bachelor's degree
